Why Pro costs money and the WH-347 doesn't
The WH-347 is a single federal form that changes every few years, and DOL now offers its own fillable version, so we keep ours free. State formats are different: DIR has just replaced its XML schema (V1 is accepted only until January 13, 2027), and each state system needs monitoring and updates. Pro pays for that work.
For comparison, dedicated certified payroll services commonly charge per user or per project, often over $100 a month. Pro is one price for the whole company.
Questions
How does the free trial work?
You enter a card at sign-up and get 14 days of Pro. If you cancel before the trial ends you aren't charged. Cancel from your account page at any time.
Is it per user?
No. One subscription covers one company, any number of people, projects and workers.
What payment methods do you take?
Cards through Stripe, our payment processor. We never see your full card number.
Is sales tax added?
Stripe calculates sales tax automatically where software subscriptions are taxable, based on your billing address.
Can I get a refund?
If Pro doesn't work for you in the first 14 days of a paid subscription, email us and we'll refund it.
Does Pro see my workers' data?
No. Pro only unlocks the download. Files are still read and built in your browser; our servers know your email and subscription status, nothing else.
